DUSKORA is born from the fusion of two words, Dusk-Skora. “Dusk” symbolises the timeless allure of twilight – that magical hour when light softens and everything glows in quiet sophistication, “Skora” meaning Skin in Polish, represents the intimate connection between fabric and the body. At Duskora, we believe garment is our second skin. We wear garments 24X7, 365 days. So it is an integral part of human being. Evening is a time when celebration occurs and glam rises. Duskora is all about celebrations.

The way true couture should feel: natural, effortless and personal. At Duskora we celebrate this harmony of grace and intimacy. Every piece is design to drape like a second skin, crafted with meticulous detail and luxurious fabrics that whisper elegance. Our creations blend modern silhouettes with artisanal craftsmanship, bringing together global sensibilities and the soul of timeless fashion.

FOUNDERS

SAYANTAANI MITRA

Sayantaani (Shayana) has been actively working as Costume Designer and Stylist with Bollywood since 2018. She has completed her M.Des from School Of Fashion Technology (SOFT), Pune, a NIFT affiliated college ranking 27th in India and 2nd in Pune. She has been awarded Special Jury Award at the final year Student Fashion Show by judges from Milan, Italy.

After her Masters, she was offered to join Designer Rahul Mishra and Vikram Phadnis simultaneously. After which, she started working as Costume Designer and Stylist for Bollywood Industry. As being passionate about creativity, she has designing, dancing and acting skills. She follows trends actively. She has Guinness World record for her love for Classical dance. Her career in films has been vivid and impressive.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Sayantaani has worked as Costume Stylist for Nita Ambani’s show of NMACC, the Great Indian Musical – Civilization to Nation. She has also worked with the 6 times Tony Award-winning International Broadway Production, “Sound Of Music”, by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

She has worked with National Awardee designer duo, Divvya Niddhhi Gambhir for Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films. Her work also includes TVF, Yashraj Production Music video Baar-Baar, featuring Priyanka Choudhary and Ankit Gupta. She has worked for Ad films like, Hero Karizma (featuring Hrithik Roshan), Crompton Fans, Polycab Fans, many more in the list.

Sayantaani has a strong pull towards sustainable fashion. Being raised in a family where caring for the environment was a way of life, she realised the urgent need to bring awareness about sustainability into the Indian fashion landscape — especially as fashion has become the second largest polluting industry in the world. Her brand, Duskora, embodies this vision, focusing on sustainability through the principles of re-cycling and up-cycling, transforming discarded materials into timeless pieces of art. With every creation, Duskora aims to prove that style and sustainability can co-exist beautifully, inspiring a new generation to dress consciously while celebrating elegance.

SAGARR SHHARMA

With a diverse creative journey, Sagarr Shharma brings a rare blend of artistic and analytical perspectives to fashion industry. Being from the background of finance, he brings in the cost effective garment manufacturing and processing which delivers products at an affordable prices. As Sustainability demands higher pricing and technicality, Sagarr’s vision makes customers spend less amount by saving the environment.

His experience as Costume Stylist with The Viral Fever production - “Cubicles” deepened his understanding of character styling and the subtle art of dressing identity. Having worked with Bollywood, he developed an eye for personality, presence, and the power of visual storytelling. Alongside this, his background in Business Management and Finance gives Duskora its strategic foundation — balancing creativity with precision and purpose.

Sagarr has been into event management and artist management. His love for clothes made him join hands with his partner Sayantaani Mitra to build a brand with futuristic vision and contribute to the society in a bigger platform.

Both Sagarr Shharma and Sayantaani Mitra joined hands to create a new fresh unpolluted world of fashion under the name of DUSKORA.
